Deputies investigating the crash determined that Thibodeau's vehicle had veered off the roadway, traveled through a ditch, and struck a large tree before coming to rest on a neighboring lawn. The crash scene remains under investigation, as officials try to determine what caused Thibodeau to leave the road. The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office was aided at the scene by the Bradford Fire Department.
