Bradford Crash Claims the Life of a 64-year-old Hudson Man
A Hudson man has died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash in Bradford.
The call about a serious motor vehicle crash was reported to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office just after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. A dispatcher told authorities that the sole occupant of the vehicle was badly hurt. Deputies responded to the scene on Storer Road and found 64-year-old Gregory Thibodeau of Hudson with critical injuries. He was transported by Mayo Ambulance to Northern Light Hospital, where he later died.
Deputies investigating the crash determined that Thibodeau's vehicle had veered off the roadway, traveled through a ditch, and struck a large tree before coming to rest on a neighboring lawn. The crash scene remains under investigation, as officials try to determine what caused Thibodeau to leave the road. The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office was aided at the scene by the Bradford Fire Department.
