The Suspect in the Etna Homicide Was Taken to a Hospital For Evaluation
The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit North is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. An autopsy at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Norris died of multiple sharp force injuries and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Tasker was arrested and charged with murder. She was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation and is now being held without bail at the Penobscot County Jail.

Tasker has been in the news before for altercations with her significant others. WABI-TV reports she was in court in 2019 for aggravated assault after allegedly hitting Norris with a car. Luke Norris pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief for damaging her vehicle before she allegedly hit him with it.
In a separate case, Tasker was convicted of manslaughter for a crash in 2010. In that incident, Tasker rolled her truck, which caused her then-boyfriend to be fatally ejected from the vehicle. TV-5 reports she spent 9 months of a 10-year sentence in jail and lost her license for five years.
