Eddington Man Dies In Orono Motorcycle Crash

Police have identified the man who died after he crashed his motorcycle into a utility pole on outer Forest Avenue over the weekend.

Peter Goodin, 55, of Eddington was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

WABI reported that the crash was discovered by a passing motorist around 6 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the crash likely happened hours before it was discovered.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet.
