
Eddington Maine Motorcycle Crash Injures NY Father and Daughter
A man and his teen daughter were hurt in a motorcycle-SUV crash Sunday in Eddington.

The injured pair have been identified as a 49-year-old man from New York, who was operating the bike, and his 17-year-old daughter, who was riding on the back.

Maine Officials Say a Motorcycle and SUV Collided on Route 9 in Eddington, Maine
According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, the motorcycle was traveling behind the sport utility vehicle on Route 9 in Eddington. It was around 5:30 Sunday evening when the bike tried to pass the SUV as the vehicle's driver initiated a left-hand turn onto Rooks Road, resulting in a collision.

Eddington, Maine Crash Sends Father and Daughter to a Bangor Hospital
Officials say the father and daughter were both taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. The father sustained minor injuries, while his daughter injuries were described as serious.
Both people on he bike were wearing helmets. The two people in the SUV were not hurt.
This crash remains under investigation.
