Early Morning Fatal Crash In Turner [UPDATE]

Police have released the identity of a man who was killed in a crash in Turner early Thursday morning.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened at 1:00 Thursday morning when 54-year-old William Rodgers was traveling south on Route 4. His van collided with an SUV, driven by 23-year-old Christian Parlin, who was driving north. Rodgers died in the crash. Parlin was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Route 4 was closed down for a time while crews worked to clear the road, but has since been reopened to traffic.
