Driver Charged with Manslaughter for Lagrange Crash
A Lagrange man is charged with manslaughter for a crash earlier this year that killed his passenger.
The accident happened in July on the Medford Road in Lagrange. 39-year-old Randall Hamm was driving the vehicle and 35-year-old Desarae Bourgoine was his passenger. State Police say Hamm was speeding and had a blood alcohol level nearly twice the legal limit, when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve and the vehicle ended up on its roof. Bourgoin died in the crash.
Hamm was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Manslaughter and Aggravated OUI. He was transported to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor.
