Maine State and Auburn Police are investigating a double homicide in Auburn.

Auburn Police Chief Jason Moen says their department received a report of a cardiac arrest at 49 Fourth Street at 11:27 a.m. on Sunday. Police and Fire Department members responded and found two people who were deceased. They have been identified as 21-year-old Kelzie Caron of Auburn and 21-year-old Pierre Langlois of Connecticut.

Maine's Chief Medical Examiner has not released how the two people died, but has ruled their deaths a homicide.

Lieutenant Randall Keaton says officials are looking for a 2018 Hyundai Tuscon, in connection with this investigation.

No further information is being released, at this time. Police say there is no indication of any danger to the general public.
