Diver Training Taking Place In Moosehead Lake [Video]

It's been a record breaking year for temperatures in Maine so I can assume the water in Moosehead Lake is a little chilly this time of year. Watch as 2 state police divers return to the surface of the lake in Greenville.

All this week and part of last week dive teams from 3 states have come to Moosehead lake to perfect their ice diving skills. I've always been curious what was going on under the ice, this video gives a glimpse of what it would be like to be a fish in a Maine winter.

I would much rather watch a video of these guys under the ice than swim in the 28 degree water myself. I'm all set with experiencing this firsthand but in the safety of my own warm home, I find the under ice world enchanting!
