A man's body was recovered Wednesday from a burned-out home in Lebanon, and investigators say the blaze was intentionally set, according to a media report.

The 58-year-old man's body was discovered on the second floor of the building at 72 Shapleigh Road.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire was intentionally set, according to a report from WGME.

Police said the man lived alone in the home, and it's not clear if the man was killed by the fire or if he died before the blaze broke out.

The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death.
