Dashboard Camera Video Shows Suspect Fleeing Traffic Stop In Orono

Orono police say a driver who was caught on video fleeing a traffic stop on Main Street Sunday had three warrants, bail conditions and a suspended license.

According to a post on the Orono Police Department's Facebook page, the driver, Cody Ouellette, 20, fled on foot as an officer was confirming the warrants in a police cruiser.

Ouellette was chased down and arrested in the woods. He was charged with refusing to submit to arrest, violation of a release condition and operating after suspension.

Police said Ouellette told them he "could not believe how fast they [police] were."
