Darius Rucker’s Upcoming Speech at USC to be a ‘Hoot’ [Bonus Video]

We're all looking forward to the summer's first country concert at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, as Darius Rucker will be featured along with Rodney Atkins and Jana Kramer (concert info here). But before Rucker hits the stage in the Queen City, he's got another engagement that involves his alma mater--USC.

While cruising Rucker's website, I discovered that the University of South Carolina has invited him to speak at this year's graduation commencement. And what a great choice, as Rucker got his start in the music business with his former college buds, 'Hootie and and Blowfish.' Ring a bell?
