Welcome to Mooseport
Welcome to Mooseport is a 2004 comedy starring Ray Romano and Gene Hackman.
In the film, Hackman plays former U.S. President Monroe "Eagle" Cole, who moves to his vacation home in Mooseport, Maine after a difficult divorce.
After being approached by the town council, Cole agrees to run for mayor against Harold "Handy" Harrison, a local hardware store owner and plumber played by Romano.
Casper
Casper is a 1995 family comedy based on the Harvey Comics cartoon character Casper the Friendly Ghost.
It stars Christina Ricci, Bill Pullman, Cathy Moriarty, and Eric Idle.
In the film, Casper peacefully haunts Whipstaff Manor, a mansion in Friendship, Maine, and befriends Kathleen "Kat" Harvey (Ricci) and her dad, Dr. James Harvey (Pullman).
The Parent Trap
The Parent Trap is a 1998 family comedy starring Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, and Lindsay Lohan.
In the film, a pair of identical twins who were separated at birth meet by chance at a summer camp in Maine and then work together to reunite their divorced parents.
It is a remake and a legacy sequel of the 1961 film of the same name.
Charlotte's Web
Charlotte's Web is a 2006 fantasy comedy-drama based on the 1952 novel of the same name by E. B. White.

Andre is a 1994 comedy-drama starring Tina Majorino.
Set in Rockport, Maine, the movie is based on the true story of a harbor seal named Andre, who was rescued and raised by a Rockport family.
The film is an adaptation of the book A Seal Called Andre: The Two Worlds of a Maine Harbor Seal, which was co-written by Harry Goodridge and Lew Dietz. Goodridge was the real-life harbormaster who adopted and cared for Andre.
Hope Springs
Hope Springs is a 2012 romantic comedy drama starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell.
In the film, Kay (Streep) and Arnold Soames (jones) play a married couple looking to reignite the spark in their relationship.
The two undergo a week of marriage counseling with Dr. Bernie Feld (Carell) in a fictional coastal town in Maine.
