Where Are the Country Bars in Maine?

I love a good country bar. Coming from California, there were about 20 in a 10-mile radius from my home. Each one uniquely different but offering a similar experience: great music (usually from a talented local band), line dancing, drinks, revelry, and community.

I Have Located Four Country Bars in All of Maine

Surely there are more than four country bars in the state of Maine, and please email me if you know of any, including restaurants and/or bars who feature a country theme night. I've heard of country bars locally that have come and gone, or ones that were rumored to open, but all failed for one reason or another. How is that possible in a state where country radio and concerts dominate the demographics?

Crystal Falls in Chelsea, Maine is a Unique Country Bar

According to their Facebook, Crystal Falls is only open Saturday night beginning at 8pm. It's a $15 cover to enjoy a live band and a BYOB style establishment. This is something that I am not familiar with and cannot wait to check out this long-standing venue. Crytal Falls is located just east of Augusta, and about an hour from Bangor.

Bonfire is a Country Bar in Portland, Maine

Bonfire Country Bar in Portland, Maine has been the most recommend country bar to me as I've inquired around Maine. Bonfire seemingly is also the ONLY country bar in Portland. Blasting Toby Keith and affordable beer, you're destined to have a good time with good people.

Bonfire is open from 4pm until 1am on the weekdays and opens early on the weekend while still partying until 1am. Going purely off their social media photos, this is a place I need to visit immediately for a fun night with country music.

A Third Country Bar I've Discovered in Maine is Erik's Church

Erik's Church is located in Windham, Maine. During the day they offer great food and live music, and after 6pm on the weekends it's for 21 and up only.

Pretty cool that 4 out of 5 of this year's ACM New Female Artist of the Year nominees have performed at their venue.

Bull & Brew Wing House Seems to be the ONLY Country Bar on the Maine Coast

In fact, Bull & Brew Wing House claims that they are, too. They are open in Old Orchard Beach, Maine Monday through Thursday 4pm until 1am and Friday thru Sunday 11am until 1am. They have a full menu and offer live bands on the weekend. Definitely have this on the destination list.
