Cool Off With Literacy Volunteers Of Bangor This Summer!

Now that summer is here, we're all seeking relief from the heat by any means possible. And every once in a while, you can do something like beat the heat, but also help out a great cause at the same time.

Literacy Volunteers of Bangor has been doing just that this summer. They have a number of scheduled events in conjunction with Darling's Ice Cream For A Cause, to collect books for kids at many locations throughout the summer!

According to the Literacy Volunteers of Bangor Facebook page, they will be making the rounds on July 10th, 12th, and 24th, as well as August 1st, 7th, and 16th. On many of those days, they will be at several different locations, so they urge you to follow their Twitter page for ongoing route updates throughout each trip.
