Two men, from Connecticut and Puerto Rico, were arrested this week for allegedly bringing cocaine and fentanyl into Maine.

State Police stopped a vehicle on Tuesday evening, as it was headed north on the Maine Turnpike in York. The vehicle contained two men, 29-year-old Juan Santiago of Hartford, Connecticut, and Enrique Arroyo Robles, age 21, of Puerto Rico. Police say they noticed enough criminal indicators during the stop to warrant calling in K9 Pinney, who alerted to the smell of narcotics.

Police searched the vehicle and seized 266 grams of cocaine and 52 grams of fentanyl. Both men were charged with two counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs and taken to the York County Jail. Bail is set at $15,000 each.
