Take advantage of a beautiful Saturday morning in Brewer along the waterfront and get to know the some of the heroes protecting our community!

This Saturday, August 10th, Brewer Police Department is hosting Coffee with a Cop. From 9am until noon, you can greet some of our local heroes at the Brewer Riverwalk Waterfront Children's Garden on South Main Street.

The Brewer Police Department is a full-service Police Department with 20 sworn, full- time officers.  We have a long-standing tradition in providing the citizens of Brewer with the highest level of professional law enforcement services available. Our dedicated officers accomplish their public safety mission by establishing partnerships within the community and working cooperatively with the citizens we are sworn to protect.

What Is Coffee with a Cop Like the One This Saturday in Brewer, Maine?

Coffee with a Cop is a worldwide event that began in 2016. The mission behind this unique event is to break down the barriers behind police officers and the community they serve. It's not only a great opportunity for neighbors to raise awareness to any issues, but also humanizes our law enforcement thru creating a real human connection in a neutral and peaceful setting.

Coffee with a Cop first took place at a McDonald's in Hawthorne, California with a goal to occur in all 50 of the United States. It rapidly surpassed that goal as this is the 7th annual Coffee with a Cop and will take place throughout 33 nations in 9 different languages. See you on the Brewer Waterfront this Saturday!
