Chris Young To Release New Single ‘Raised On Country’ This Week

The wait will soon be over. New music from Chris Young is out this week.

Back in November, Chris Young teased a new song via his Instagram. The video revealed a preliminary mix of his next single "Raised On Country." The tune name-drops several legendary country stars and at least one classic song.

"I was raised on Merle, raised on Willie / Got my honky-tonk attitude from Joe Diffie / Daddy did too, it's family tradition / When someone cranks it up you can't help but listen / My upbringing sounds like George Strait singing / 'Cause if you know me, I was raised on country."

According to Young, "Raised On Country" will be released on Friday, January 4.
