The 18th annual will be a lot like the 17th annual.

But don’t sweat it. The Destination Moosehead Lake Chocolate Festival is a go.

It’s this Sunday and you need to pre-order your chocolate by 12 Noon Wednesday. That way you're guaranteed to have the number of boxes you want. Or need.

The good news: the event is still going to happen. And it’ll be a lot like last year, which was anything but like the previous 16 Moosehead Lake Chocolate Festivals.

The actual event is this Sunday between Noon and 3 pm at Bartley Center Cove Events at 241 Pritham Avenue in Greenville. Like last year, it will be a drive-through event, to pick up your boxes of chocolate. Again, you must order by tomorrow, Wednesday the 16th at Noon, in order to be able to have your chocolate ready for you and your drooling mouths.

Better than having to miss out on all that fabulous chocolate.

Here is the link to pre-purchase online at Destination Moosehead Lake.

The cost is the same as last year too.  $10 for a 10 piece chocolate box. And the Kids’ Chocolate box is $5 for 5 pieces.

All that delicious chocolate, this weekend. It'll be Valentine's Day all over again, except better.

The Chocolate Festival is held to bring awareness to how beautiful the Moosehead Lake region is, and to bring Mainers in to enjoy the event and the region. We all realize how beautiful the area is, and the chocolate makes it even more special.

How many times can one go through the drive through in 3 hours this Sunday.
