Maine State Police Have Identified the Victims of a Double Murder
The victims have been identified as:
Christopher Hunnewell, 43, of Chelsea
Ty Carter, 22, of Chelsea
The cause and manner of their deaths is being withheld by police, as the investigation continues.
Maine Police Say a Juvenile Has Been Charged With Murders in the Double Homicide
Maine State Police Troopers were called to a home on Windsor Road in Chelsea just after 8:30 Wednesday night. When they got to the residence, the Troopers found two men who were deceased.
A juvenile, who was also at the scene, was taken into custody and charged with murder. His name has not been released, due to his age. The suspect was transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.
No information has been released about a possible motive for the murders or whether the victims were familiar with the suspect.
Maine State Police Have Not Released a Cause of Death for 2 Murder Victims
The bodies were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death.
Officials say there is no danger to the public. This investigating is continuing.
