Carmel Days is one of the biggest community events in Maine.

The date is Saturday, October 2. That’s this Saturday.

The event begins with one of Maine’s largest parades starting at 11 a.m. If you would like to be a part of the parade, contact the town office to register. The parade includes bands, floats, trucks, cars, tractors, bicycles, horses and walkers. Clowns will be everywhere. And the day concludes with a huge fireworks finale at dusk.

In between the Great Maine Lumberjack Show. Timber Tina and her crew will be performing 3 shows. The first one is at 1:30 PM. The Great Maine Lumberjack show will be at the recreation complex on Five Road. Events include a Power Hot Saw Race, Axe Throwing, Cross Cut Sawing, Chainsaw Carving, underhand chopping and log rolling. There will be a Climbing Wall.  And you can play Human Bubble Ball. All the games are free and go all day.

Monster Trucks Rides. A petting zoo. Face painting. And a dance party. A full day of fun for Carmel Days this Saturday.
