Officials say a motorcyclist in Casco may have suffered a medical event before crashing his bike.

66-year-old Gaetan Charest of Quebec, Canada, was traveling with a group of bikers at around 5:20 Sunday afternoon when he went off the road while making a curve. He was last in the group of riders and so wasn't immediately missed. When the other riders discovered he was gone, they circled back and were told by a homeowner that he had crashed into some trees.

Rescue workers were unable to revive him. Officials say speed and alcohol don't appear to be factors but he may have suffered a medical event before the accident.
