Bucksport Police Investigating Fight that Led to Shooting

Bucksport Police say one person was injured in a shooting on Thursday night.

Officials say the incident started as a verbal disagreement at the end of a driveway on Dalton Lane. During the argument, two firearms were discharged. WVII-TV reports one man sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a Bangor hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The Bucksport Police continue to investigate this incident and have not yet released the names of the people involved. This incident will be reviewed by the Hancock County District Attorney's Office, to determine whether any charged will be filed.

Bucksport officers were assisted by the Brewer Police Department and the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office.
