New to Bucksport, but not a new venture. Just a new location, for an established local restaurant.

And actually this will be their 3rd location. All in Hancock County.

Siam Sky will be opening on Main Street in Bucksport, across the street from the Bucksport Library, and right next to the Bucksport Town Office sometime later this year.

And the 2nd location is on Downeast Highway in Ellsworth.

3 Thai restaurants within a few years by the owners of Siam Sky who are a married couple originally from Bangkok. Vee Napapornpipat and her husband Chalee Chaikaew met when both lived in Massachusetts, and opened their first venture there.

However Vee told the Ellsworth American they wanted to move to Maine for the slower pace and the friendly people.

Hard to imagine a slower pace when you are operating 3 restaurants, but welcome to Bucksport. Authentic ethnic restaurants are always a great addition And if you like a perfect view with your Pad Thai or Tom Yum Soup or Drunken Noodles or Bangkok Beef, it’ll be hard to beat the vista in that location.
