Country duo Brooks & Dunn are plotting a return to the road. One stop falls just shy of Maine.

Concerts are coming back, with huge tours hitting the road this summer. Brooks & Dunn just announced their first nationwide tour in ten years. The REBOOT 2021 Tour features 18 stops, with one show here in New England. Seven new dates were added to the new tour schedule. The Road Trip Worthy show is at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, September 9.

Tickets are on-sale now. The Massachusetts show was part of the original tour plan. Tickets to the previously scheduled night will be honored.

Travis Tritt and Elvie Shane will open the show.

The Xfinity Center plans to host a bunch of country shows in the coming months. Dierks Bentley will bring his Beers On Me 2021 Tour to the venue September 25. Riley Green and Parker McCollum will open the show. Tickets are on-sale now.

In Maine, it appears live country music is starting to return. Back in April, Brothers Osborne announced a show at Rock Row in Westbrook July 31. Travis Denning and Tenille Townes will open the show. Both Denning and Townes were set to make their Bangor debut as openers for two planned country shows last summer. Denning was to open for Sam and Hunt, and Townes was opening for Sugarland. Both shows were ultimately canceled due to COVID.

Most recently, Brett Young announced he will hit the road in September. Young's 33-date The Weekends Tour will stop in Portland at Thompson's Point, September 18. Tickets are on-sale now. Maddie & Tae and Filmore will open the show.

Young performed in Maine for the first time back in 2018. He opened for Thomas Rhett in Bangor back in 2018.
