Brewer Police Seek Man Who Allegedly Poured Gas In House

Brewer Police are looking for a man they believe poured gasoline in a house, after violating a protection order.

It was just after twelve o'clock Monday afternoon when Brewer Police Officers and members of the Brewer Fire Department responded to an incident at a North Main Street residence. Officials say it appeared someone had poured gasoline inside the home and there were concerns of a fire or explosion. At first, it was believed that the suspect may have still been inside the house, but a Bangor PD K-9 unit helped officials determine he had left the scene.

Now, police are looking for Rahsaan White, 41 of Brewer, for charges of Violation of a Protection Order, Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening, and Criminal Mischief. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Brewer PD at (207) 989-7000.
