Brewer Police are asking for the public's help locating a local man who's been missing since Tuesday.

UPDATE: Brewer Police report that Albert Shultz was found deceased, during a search by the Maine Warden Service. State Police are investigating.

Albert Shultz was last seen at his place of employment on Tuesday morning. At 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, Brewer Police were called to check on him by friends and family who are concerned about his well-being. Officers did not find Shultz at his home. Since then, officials have learned that Shulz was seen traveling east on Route 9 in the Beddington area at approximately 11:45 AM on Tuesday. Police say information suggests that Shultz may still be in Washington County, and possibly in a wooded area.

Shultz is 24-years-old, approximately 5'9" tall, 193 pounds, with red hair. Police say he's operating a dark blue 2013 Nissan Rogue, with license plate #5432XF. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Brewer Police Department at 207-989-7000 or their local law enforcement agency.

The Brewer Police Department is working with the Maine Warden Service, Maine State Police, and Washington County Sheriff's Office in the search for Shultz.
