Brewer Man Charged for Christmas Morning Fire on Maple Street

A Brewer man is charged with arson for allegedly setting fire to a Maple Street duplex on Christmas Day.

30-year-old Julio Orsini is accused of setting the fire in the entryway of a house at 20 Maple Street. The fire started at around 12:30 a.m. on Christmas morning, when no one was in the duplex. No one was hurt, but the fire did cause significant damage to the building. Officials haven't revealed a motive for the incident, but say that Orsini lives on the same street as the duplex.

He's been taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
