A request by a local hotel to remove some people results in several arrests.

Brewer, Maine, Police Respond to a 'Wanted Out' Complaint from a Hotel

Brewer Police didn't identify the hotel but say that they were contacted on April 15, 2026, by the hotel staff about four individuals that needed to be removed from the property.

Initially, four people were contacted by the police, including Bryce Samuelson, Lillian Samuelson, Robert Kerr, Emilie Gilman, and Daniel Joshua Meredith.

Brewer, Maine, Police Seize Drugs and a Firearm From a Local Hotel

Kerr, Lillian and Bryce Samuelson were all out on bail from a prior arrest and had active bail conditions.

During the course of the investigation and the removal of the subjects, officers noticed multiple items of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.

Five Suspects Face Charges After Removal From a Brewer, Maine Hotel

As a result of the investigation the following charges were filed:

Robert Kerr, 57, of Sangerville:

  • Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
  • Unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs
  • Violation of conditional release

Emilie Gilman, 29:

  • Unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs

Bryce Samuelson, 33:

  • Aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs
  • Violation of conditional release

Lillian Samuelson, 33:

  • Aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs
  • Violation of conditional release
  • Three active arrest warrants

Daniel Joshua Meredith, 29:

  • Unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs

Authorities did not release the types of drugs that were seized in this operation.
