The body of a Jackman man whose family reported him missing when he failed to arrive at a Massachusetts destination was found deceased in his pickup truck.

54-year-old Troy Cormier left Saturday to visit family in Massachusetts. When he didn't show up, family members contacted their local police in North Brookfield. A description of Cormier and his F-250 pickup truck were posted on the department's Facebook page and officers began scouring the area for any sign of him.

According to the Worcester Telegram, Cormier was found by police at around 11:00 Sunday morning. His truck had struck a tree off Route 31 and his body was found inside the vehicle. Officials say spotting the truck was challenging because it had traveled about 20 feet off the roadway, near the Spencer town line, and was sitting in a wooded area. A ping of his cellphone led police to the Paxton area at around 2:00 Sunday morning, so officials aren't sure exactly when the crash happened.

The accident remains under investigation but police say foul play is not suspected.
