When you hear Blaze is opening another restaurant, is this what you think of?

The location across from Waterfront Pavilion on Main Street in Bangor, next to the Dunkin'?

Yeah, that one. And that location is "still to come," and hopefully soon. At least before the next concert season.

But here's the scoop.  Blaze is opening on Main Street in Blue Hill.

If the building looks familiar, although it has been vacant for quite some time, it first opened years ago as a restaurant called Fire Pond. Opened by the Hikades. John and Beth moved further up the road on Tenney Hill and opened Arborvine years ago.

Love the outdoor enclosure, new since the pandemic.

Back to Blaze. No announced date for the opening in Blue Hill as of yet.

But coming soon. It looks inviting. And if you need a job...
