Human remains found in Blaine have been identified as a woman who's been missing since July.

Blaine, Maine Human Remains Identified as Aroostook County Woman

Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says the deceased has been identified as Tomis Hoyt, 36, from the Presque Isle area.

Hoyt was last seen on the Robinson Road in Mars Hill in July. None of her family or friends had heard from her since July 13, 2025.

Human Remains in Blaine, Maine Identified But Cause of Death is Pending

Her remains were found in Blaine on October 30, 2025.

While her identity has been confirmed, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner says Hoyt's cause and manner of death are still pending.

This case remains under investigation.
