Another big show is on the calendar at Thompson's Point in Portland.

Billy is back. Billy Strings will return to Portland this summer for a double-down tour stop. The shows at Thompson's Point are set for July 28 and 29. Tickets go on-sale Friday, February 17.

Due to expected high demand for tickets, the concert promoter is warning of a fast sell-out. The State Theatre says: "We expect demand to significantly exceed the number of tickets available, so please take advantage of the pre-sales if possible. Pre-sale codes do not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you get a code, be sure to join the sales promptly at the stated times for the best chance to get tickets."

The warning comes after a big tour nearly sold-out Thompson's Point before the general public on-sale. Tyler Childers' Send in the Hounds Tour sold-out in minutes back in November. Few tickets were left when the general public on-sale hit at 9 A.M. The remaining tickets were quickly purchased.
