
Country Star Billy Currington to Play Sidney, Maine, on May 29, 2025
Country music star Billy Currington will be in Maine on Thursday, May 29, performing at the Bowl in the Pines outdoor music venue in Sidney.
Currington, whose last release was his 2021 "Intuition" album, will come to town with openers Parmalee and Cole Goodwin.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. Thursday, with the show starting at 6 p.m.
Billy Currington Performs in Maine
The "People Are Crazy" singer last performed in Maine on July 27, 2018, when he and LoCash played a show on the Maine State Pier in Portland.
Currington, 51, also played on the Maine State Pier on July 7, 2017, when his "Stay Up 'Til The Sun Tour" came to the Pine Tree State.
The last time he performed north of Portland, but still in Maine, was more than 10 years ago, when he played a show on August 30, 2014, at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion (now Maine Savings Amphitheater) in Bangor.
About Bowl in the Pines in Maine
Bowl in the Pines is owned and operated by Snow Pond Center for the Arts.
It is located on Geranium Lane, off Route 23 and Pond Road.
According to the Bowl in the Pines website, the venue "has a 7,000+ capacity, making it one of the largest open shell outdoor stages in the USA."
Upcoming shows at the venue include Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' on Friday, May 30, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band on Thursday, July 31, and Maren Morris on Saturday, September 6.
Previous performers at Bowl in the Pines include Jo Dee Messina, Elle King, Beach Boys, Indigo Girls, Melissa Etheridge and others.

Billy Currington puts on a great show, and it should be a lot of fun.
