Bangor Property Has 2nd Excavator Fire In 6 Months
Fire officials are investigating the cause of a second excavator fire on the same property in six months.
Crews were called to the Essex Street property at approximately four o'clock Wednesday afternoon. When firefighters arrived, they found a fully-involved excavator fire in a field, behind a barn. While officials told WABI-TV that no structures were threatened, the flames did spark a large brush pile. Mutual aid also responded from Glenburn, Hermon, and Levant.
Fire officials are now investigating the cause of the fire.
