The Bizumuremyi brothers had allegedly pulled off the roadway at one point, and the two men switched seats. The vehicle then pulled back onto Broadway before pulling off into the parking lot where they were found.

Bangor Police Sergeant Jason McAmbley says Officer Adams interviewed the two men who allegedly admitted they each had been driving the car. They also allegedly admitted they had swapped drivers, and both also allegedly admitted they shouldn't have been behind the wheel. Manoach allegedly had done most of the driving.

After they both allegedly failed sobriety tests, they were charged with operating under the influence and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
