A teenager from Bangor was killed over the weekend in an ATV crash on a trail in Presque Isle.

Bangor, Maine 15-Year-Old Dies in Presque Isle ATV Crash

The name of the teen has not been released, but the Maine Warden Service confirmed it was a 15-year-old male from Bangor.

Officials say the youth was driving a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly on the Cross Road ATV trail in Presque Isle, when the crash happened. He was the third to last ATV in a group traveling together on the trail when his ATV rolled over.

The ATV struck the teen as it rolled over, causing fatal injuries. Authorities say the teen was wearing a helmet.

Emergency medical personnel performed CPR on the teen, but were unable to revive him.
