Federal agents were at Kobe Ninja Japanese Grill in Bangor on Thursday and allegedly detained 3 people.

Three people were reportedly taken into custody at Kobe Ninja Japanese Grill, located on Hogan Road Extension in Bangor. According to the BDN, there's no information about the identities of those arrested or the reason for their detention.
Bangor, Maine, Restaurant Raided by Agents of the Department of Homeland Security
On Thursday, the restaurant was closed as Border Patrol agents in bulletproof vests, helmets, sunglasses, and guns were seen outside the building. Coming out of the restaurant were other agents, carrying boxes.
At least one of the agents was wearing a vest with HSI printed on it, identifying him as being with the Department of Homeland Security. The other people involved in the raid were, reportedly, not wearing badges or identification.
The Department of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, commonly referred to as ICE, is part of the Department of Homeland Security.
Vehicles Involved in the Raid of Kobe's in Bangor Had Maine License Plates
All vehicles involved in this incident had Maine license plates and no signage identifying them as being with the federal government.
