A woman and two men are facing charges in connection with a family fight.
Bangor, Maine, Police Arrest 3 Suspects for a Family Fight
Bangor Police have identified the three suspects:
- Adam McKay is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct.
- Adam Rugh is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct.
- Kayla Kalel is charged with obstructing government administration and resisting arrest.
Bangor, Maine, Police Saw Signs of a Fight and a Bag of Bloody Clothes
Sergeant Jason McAmbley says the police responded to a report of a family fight at approximately 11:00 Monday night. When officers arrived at the scene, no one was home, but they noticed signs that there had been a physical altercation. The scene was secured by police as a search warrant was prepared.
While the officers were waiting for the warrant, Kayla Kalel walked up, but was told that she wasn't allowed to enter the home, which was considered a crime scene. Ms. Kalel then left the area.
Officials say that a short time later, the officers noticed the woman wearing different clothes and carrying a bag. Kalel was arrested after police determined she had allegedly entered the crime scene, changed her clothes, and was carrying bloody clothing in a bag.
Bangor, Maine, Police Say 2 Suspects Were Not at the Scene of the Family Fight
Mr. McKay was located by the Maine State Police and taken into custody before being transported back to Bangor.
Mr. Rugh was located in town after he called 911 to report an assault. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries. Once he was cleared, the police took him into custody.
