Three people face drug charges after Bangor Police executed a search warrant on Birch Street.

Bangor Maine Police Arrest 3 on Drug Charges From Birch Street Home

Bangor Police have identified the three suspects as:

  • Nikolas Raines, 33, of Bangor, charged with refusal to submit to arrest, falsifying physical evidence, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, and possession of a firearm by user of controlled substances.
  • Angelique Ventimiglia, 51, of Bangor, charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs. The charge was elevated to aggravated due to the fact that the house was in proximity of a city park, which is a City of Bangor designated safe zone.
  • Hailey Sawyer, 28, of Bangor, charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and violation of bail condition. Sawyer was already a prohibited person at the time of the search warrant.

At the time of his arrest, Nikolas Raines was already on Federal probation for firearm and drug trafficking charges.

Bangor Maine Police Seize Illegal Drugs and a Handgun from Birch Street Residence

Officials say the Birch Street home was searched as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Seized in that search were:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Fentanyl
  • Cocaine Base (crack)
  • A loaded handgun

In addition, the police seized a large sum of cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.
