Bangor Greendrinks Event at Habitat For Humanity ReStore
Greendrinks is back. Tonight.
They are the group that plans get togethers to socialize but always with an additional purpose.
And tonight is no exception.
Greendrinks is hosting an event tonight between 5 and 8 p.m. at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor which is located at 378 Harlow Street in Bangor. Habitat’s ReStore sells donations of new and reusable building supplies, furniture and appliances.
Greendrinks is a free family friendly event with a suggested $5 donation. For that donation you receive beverages and snacks. You are ask ed to bring your own drinking vessel.
The proceeds as always goes to their Green Grants program, which are micro grants for local environmental projects.
Tonight the Home Brewers of Greater Bangor will be joining the fun. Several brewers will be there and you can sample their product and vote for a favorite.
Habitat for Humanity and Downtown Charcuterie will provide the snacks.
Here’s a great chance to socialize and witness the fantastic work at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. They will be launching their new fundraiser HabiTAP for Humanity this evening too. They will be selling passports for free beer at participating breweries and pubs. Win Win.
