Bangor Business Destroyed By Fire

A Finson Road business was destroyed by fire over the weekend.

Bangor Firefighters were called to Fleming Water Systems and Water Treatment just before 9:00 Saturday morning. When crews arrived, there were visible flames coming from the back of the building. Officials say one man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The building is outside the 'hydrant zone,' so tankers from the National Guard and Glenburn Fire Departments helped supply water to the fire. WVII-TV reports the building is considered a total loss.

Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's Office will now work to determine what sparked the blaze.
