Augusta Police Seek Identity Of Quik Mart Robber

The Augusta Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who robbed the Augusta Quik Mart Wednesday night.

It was around 5:33 Wednesday evening when the man walked into the store on Western Avenue in Augusta. An unidentified caller told police that the suspect threatened the use of a weapon and demanded an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled the scene before officers arrived. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'8" to 6' tall, wearing a dark hoodie sweatshirt, jeans, and dark shoes, with a white facial covering.
