Auburn Woman Faces Long List Of Charges After Motel Drug Bust
An Auburn woman on Thursday was charged with selling cocaine and heroin from a Lewiston motel room.
In addition to drug trafficking and possession charges, Jacinta Hunt, 27, faces charges of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violation of conditions of release, the Maine Department of Public Safety said in a news release Friday.
Hunt was arrested by Maine drug agents at the Motel 6 in Lewiston.
Agents seized 17 grams of crack cocaine and 48 grams of heroin with a combined street value of over $11,000, the release said.
Several guns were allegedly discovered in vehicle belonging to Hunt, who is prohibited from possessing firearms because she is a convicted felon.
She was out on bail on an unrelated charge.
Hunt on Friday made her initial appearance in Lewiston District Court and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
