An Auburn teenager is facing multiple charges after State Police clocked him doing 109 miles per hour.

Maine State Police say Benjamin Gosselin's vehicle was first spotted at around 4:40 in the afternoon, on Saturday, March 9th. Trooper Nathan Jamo noticed the vehicle traveling eastbound on Minot Avenue in Auburn at an extreme rate of speed. Traffic was steady on the 4-lane two-way road when Jamo says he clocked Gosselin doing 109 miles per hour in a 50 MPH zone in his A4 Audi.

Jamo pulled the vehicle over and cited Gosselin for Criminal Speed and Failure to Produce Evidence of Insurance. Police say the District Attorney's office will also consider whether to add a Driving to Endanger charge.
