
Auburn, Maine Police Seize $75K Worth Of Illegal Drugs
MDEA agents arrested 3 people and seized cocaine, fentanyl, and meth in a huge drug bust in Auburn.
Maine Drug Agents Arrest 3 in Auburn Drug Bust
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has identified the suspects:
- Brianna Reny, 26, of Auburn, is charged with aggravated trafficking.
- Akil Charles, 31, of Brockton, Massachusetts, is charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
- William Tardiff, 57, of New Gloucester, is charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
All three were taken to the Androscoggin County Jail, where bail was set for Reny and Tardiff. Charles is being held without bail because he was already out on bail for a robbery charge.
Maine Drug Investigation Leads Police to Search an Auburn Apartment
This investigation began a year ago, when the MDEA first received information about a drug trafficking organization. During the investigation, officials learned the location of the main trafficking location in Auburn.
On December 1, 2025, a search warrant was obtained for Brianna Reny's apartment on Turner Street.

While officials were watching the residence, they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had just left the address. William Tardiff was driving the car and was allegedly found to have 179 grams of suspected cocaine.
Drug agents executed the search warrant at the apartment at approximately 6:30 pm and took the other two suspects into custody.

Reny was detained without incident, but Charles was captured while fleeing out a window.
Maine Police Seize Approximately $75K in Illegal Drugs
Multiple drugs were seized as a result of that search:
- 1244 grams of cocaine.
- 540 grams of fentanyl.
- 53 grams of methamphetamine.
- Approximately $18,200 in suspected drug proceeds.
Officials say the estimated street value of the seized drugs is $75,000.
This investigation is ongoing, and authorities anticipate making more arrests.
