The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star from Maine was recently named in unsealed documents related to Blake Lively’s ongoing court case.

2025 was packed with major news stories and headline-making moments, but one of the biggest involved Lively, as previously sealed documents related to the case were recently released.

Anna Kendrick’s name appears in unsealed documents related to the ongoing legal dispute between Lively and Justin Baldoni over the film ‘It Ends With Us.’

Kendrick previously worked with Lively on ‘A Simple Favor’ and its sequel ‘Another Simple Favor,’ and during promotion for the sequel, Kendrick addressed questions about the matter with humor while Lively largely declined to comment.

When Kendrick was asked about working with Lively in March 2025, she appeared to play coy, briefly responding to Entertainment Weekly before moving on.

Later, speaking with Variety, Kendrick joked about being unaware of outside controversy, adding that she had heard the film ‘is amazing.’

Kendrick’s name came up during Lively’s deposition as lawyers clarified the timeline of projects Lively worked on after filming ‘It Ends With Us.’

This report is based on court documents reviewed by Us Weekly, in which Lively explained that she had made another film with Anna Kendrick, and referenced its premiere in Austin to ensure her testimony accurately reflected the sequence of events.
