The boys couldn't make it to the area earlier this year because the COVID-19 pandemic set in. But fear not, they will soon visit Maine and other New England states to begin filming. So, if you know of a unique collection of junk, ah, we mean antiques, then they want to hear from you!

American Pickers is a well known TV show that features Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz, two guys who really know their stuff when it comes to the history of old items and what those items are worth.  During the show, you'll normally see them wading through thousands of things stashed in a barn somewhere that someone has collected over the years.

Throughout the show shown on the History Channel, unique people are met, stories are told, and offers are made.  It's all very interesting stuff.

The show's producers will film episodes throughout all New England states including Maine this September, but now is the time to let the producers know of someone who has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through.  Send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos toAmericanPickers@cineflix.com. or call 855-OLD-RUST.

Mike and Frank only pick private collections so NO stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.

The producers of American Pickers totally realize the times that we are in, and had this message to pass along: "We understand that with the proliferation of COVID-19, we are all facing very uncertain times. We at American Pickers are taking the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming as outlined by each state. While we plan to be in New England in September, we will continue to re-schedule if conditions change for the worse. Regardless, we are excited to continue to reach the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking!"
