Alleged Shooter, Victim Identified In Buxton Shooting

State police have released the names of the individuals involved in a shooting that critically injured a man Sunday morning in Buxton.

Brandon Lasante, 19, of Buxton is accused of shooting Lincoln Kimball, 28, of Hollis on Old Orchard Road Sunday at about 2:45 a.m., state police said in a Monday news release.

Kimball's injuries were considered life-threatening. Police did not update his condition Monday, but said he continues to recover at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating what led up to the incident.

Police said the Maine attorney general's office and the York County district attorney’s office remain in close contact as the investigation continues.
