A Silver Alert who has been issued for a Turner man who authorities say has some mental health issues.

UPDATE: Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says Mr. Patten has been safely located.

Who is Missing?

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the subject of the alert is Clarence Patten, 47, of Turner. Silver Alerts are issued for Maine's Seniors and also for people with dementia or developmental disabilities. Moss says Mr. Patten experiences some mental health issues.

Where Was He Last Seen?

According to the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office, Patten was last seen on Wednesday evening walking into the woods near his home on Trask Road in Turner. There's been no communication from him since.

What Does He Look Like?

Mr. Patten is described as a white male, 6'2" tall, and 140 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Officials don't know what he was wearing when he went missing.
