The Knox County District Attorney has officially filed six charges against "American Pie" singer Don McLean, who was arrested at his Camden home and charged with domestic violence assault on Jan. 18.

On Wednesday, the DA’s office charged the singer with domestic violence assault, domestic violence terrorizing, domestic violence criminal threatening, criminal restraint, criminal mischief and obstructing the report of a crime, according to the Bangor Daily News.

McLean, who could get up to a year in jail on each of the charges, will be formally arraigned Monday in Knox County Unified Court in Rockland.

According to the BDN, McLean is not expected to attend the arraignment and not guilty pleas will be entered on his behalf.

According to court documents, the alleged victim said McLean terrorized her for hours until she was able to lock herself in a bathroom and call 911.
